ZOLLER SMILE PILOT 3.0 measuring machine, built in Germany in 2019, is a professional instrument used for measuring and setting tools. The measurement is performed on tools with a maximum diameter of 420 mm and a length of 420 mm, by using a telecentric lens and a CCD camera with an integrated LED ring for measurements in reflected light (blade control).

The operation of the ZOLLER SMILE / PILOT 3.0 setting and measuring device is controlled by the ZOLLER »pilot 3.0« CNC controller. The machine is equipped with a number of different functions, such as the maximum contour function, automatic cutting edge recognition, radial runout and run-out measurement, and cutting edge control. The system is easy to use and its excellent precision guarantees flawless results.
