Balancing machine HIGHLIGHTS
Heavy series balancing machines have a high measuring accuracy of 1.0 g∙mm/kg.
No «knurling» marks on the axle journals, since the machine is equipped with a self-aligning lever suspension with wide cylindrical rollers.
The roller cassette has three degrees of freedom, which speeds up the adjustment process and ensures the safety of the journals’ bearing surfaces when rotating and balancing.
Calibration of the machine can be carried out in the customer’s metrology laboratory, in compliance with ISO 21940-21-2012 «Mechanical vibration. Rotor balancing. Description and evaluation of balancing machines».
Balancing machine design features
Balance accuracy 1,0 g∙mm/kg.
Self-aligning supports with cylindrical hardened rollers – eliminates the possibility of ‘knurling’ marks on low hardness, heavy weight rotor mounting (bearing) journals.
The roller cassette has three degrees of freedom to speed up the setting process and ensure the safety of the bearing journal surfaces during rotor installation and balancing.
The machine is suspended by lever-arm bearings with a low natural frequency of resonance, which guarantees a high balancing accuracy.
The machine is designed with 2 roller diameters per cassette to reduce interference with the matching diameter of the roller and journals.
Adjustment mechanism to match the height of the roller bearings enables rotors with both symmetrical (identical) and non-symmetrical
(different) journals to be balanced
The machine has both belt-driven and axial drive for workpiece rotation.
The quick-release design of the tensioning pulley allows fast installation and tensioning of the belt, without having to dismantle the unit.
The powerful axial cardan drive, with sliding cardan shaft and asynchronous motor, makes it possible to balance rotors with special design features on the machine.
The jacks for smooth installation and removal of the rotor from the supports protect the machine’s mechanisms against rotor impacts and create a
comfortable and safe working environment.
Machine can be mounted and fastened to the usual workshop floor.
Asynchronous frequency inverter drive enables infinitely variable speed control without stopping the motor, selecting the optimum mode for the balancing process.
Balancing system features PAK-1
Digital system based on a fanless industrial computer with touch screen and measuring unit.
Machine set-up by the “3-start” method using calibration weights on serial rotors with initial unbalance.
The machine is calibrated by the operator himself, which allows maximum machine sensitivity and saves you from having to pay for a machine calibration service once a year.
Calculation of the tolerances for unbalance in the absence of technical documentation for the product to be balanced.
Calculation of the recommended test weights to simplify the balancing process on the rotor to be balanced.
Real-time display of the balancing process, if a rotor defect or disturbance is detected you immediately see it as a fluctuation in the measuring result.
The system shows the current rotor angular position in real time (tracking system), with ‘highlighting’ of the plane coinciding with the correction position, the indexing of the rotor to the correction position is manual.
Automatic measuring start system when the set rotor speed is reached, and automatic stop at the end of the measurement.
Display of unbalance value in grams, g∙m, g∙cm, g∙mm/kg.
Rotor speed monitoring in case of deviations of more than 5% from the nominal speed.
Vector averaging of the last measured values for balancing rotors with moving (unambiguously adjustable from start to finish).
Exponential vector averaging which improves measurement accuracy in the presence of large disturbances, with a frequency close to the rotor frequency.
Accounting for eccentricity of the balancing mandrel
Create and print out balancing reports for the rotor.
USB port for printer connection, USB flash memory, LAN and Ethernet connection.
