The UMG-401.17 equipment set is designed for feeding logs with a diameter of 120–600 mm and a length of 2500–3200 mm to woodworking equipment for further processing. This unit includes a Bruks BR1450 log milling machine and a Valan kone VK100 debarker (adapted to birch wood), a Vecoplan VAZ2000 bark shredder. Safe platforms and stairs around the entire equipment unit ensure convenient access during machine maintenance. The Valan kone debarker is protected from environmental influences by a metal frame house. The line throughput before the debarker is 12 pcs/min, after the debarker feeding to the cutting line is 28 pcs/min.
