The DANOBAT NA 750 CNC lathe was built by the Spanish company Danobat S. Coop. in 2001. The machine body is made of MEHANITE alloy, which is characterized by high rigidity and excellent damping of vibrations and shocks. Tilted at 60 degrees, it facilitates mechanical or manual chip removal.

The headstock of the machine consists of a main spindle mounted on bearings and a pulley receiving a rotary motion. The main spindle is driven by the main motor via a belt. The tip of the tailstock with a Morse MK5 taper is made of steel with increased hardness ensuring long-term operation.

The DANOBAT NA 750 lathe, equipped with a SIEMENS Sinumerik CNC controller, processes the detail in the X and Z axes with a maximum feed rate of 255 mm (X axis) and 520 mm (Z axis). The workpiece can have a maximum turning diameter of 700 mm above the bed. The machine is also equipped with an optical measuring scale HEINDENHAIN LS186 ML340 and a DUPLOMATIC tool head.

The DUPLOMATIC tool head with a capacity of 12 tools ensures easy and quick tool change. It was made in such a way as to provide the tools with access to the entire workspace. The applied Couvic-Coupling positioning system always chooses the shortest path to change the tool.
