CNC grinding machine WALTER HELITRONIC POWER REGRINDER 5-AXIS was built in Germany by Walter Maschinenbau GmbH in 1999. The tool grinder enables grinding of various types of knives and tools for working with wood and metal. It grinds details with a maximum length of 350 mm (peripheral grinding) or 280 mm (face grinding) and a maximum diameter of 320 mm.

The speed of the grinding wheel and spindle in the machine can be adjusted in the range from 0 to 9500 rpm. The feeds in the X / Y / Z axes take place along the length of 470 mm (X axis), 320 mm (Y axis) and 660 mm (Z axis).

The CNC grinder is equipped with 5 axes, a CNC HMC 500 controller and an ISO 50 spindle taper, and the additional equipment includes a TRANSOR 6190-500M oil filtration device, a robot and a DSL SIGMA oil mist extraction device. In the grinder, the screws in the Y and Z axes were replaced. In August 2021, the machine passed the technical protocol prepared by the Walter company.
