This machine is capable of 5 sided machining with it’s nutating head that can be set at vertical, horizontal, or angled location in between separated by .001 degree movement. It has as a full contouring 4th axis rotating table giving it further flexibility. Combine this with both tool length measurement probing and spindle mounted part touch off probing, and you have a machine with alot of capability. This unit also has a chip conveyor, 80 station tool changer and coolant through the spindle.
