Buffoli 3D-TR6-12 CNC Multi-Way Transfer Machine – Year 2006

Machine 3D/TR6/12 is a transfer machine designed to work in three directions (3D), equipped with a 6-station horizontal axis indexing turret (TR6) and with 12 working units.

In the 6 stations the following devices are installed:
STATION 1
• Semi-automatic loading/unloading

STATION 2
• Mobile support (2.1)
• Drilling unit with ball screw feed (2.2)
• Drilling unit with ball screw feed (2.3)

STATION 3
• Drilling unit with ball screw feed (3.1)
• Drilling unit with ball screw feed (3.2)

STATION 4
• Drilling unit with ball screw feed (4.1)
• Drilling unit with ball screw feed (4.3)

STATION 5
• Comby unit with ball screw feed (5.1)
• Comby unit with ball screw feed (5.2)
• Comby unit with ball screw feed (5.3)

STATION 6
• Comby unit with ball screw feed (6.1)
• Comby unit with ball screw feed (6.2)
• Comby unit with ball screw feed (6.3)

The machine is equipped with:
• Chips unloading and coolant filtering system
• Central lubrication plant
• Hydraulic plant
• Pneumatic plant
• Electrical plant

INDEXING TURRET AND CHUCKS

The indexing turret is used mainly to support the chucks for workpiece holding, and to transfer the workpieces from one station to another.

The housings of 6 self-centring chucks and the pipelines for their hydraulic feed are installed on the turret.
Chucks have a max. opening stroke of (12 x 2) mm.

At each cycle the turret indexes 60°
