The maximum thread length is as long as the rolling tool is wide.

Grooved rolls have no pitch and are pivoted at the pitch angle of the profile to be rolled.

Pitched rollers differ from grooved rollers in that they have a pitch in their profile.
The sum of the pitch angle and the swivel angle determines the pitch angle in the workpiece.
