Description
The OKUMA 2SP-V40 is a twin-spindle inverted vertical CNC lathe designed for high-volume production of medium to large diameter disc-type components such as brake rotors, flywheels, and gear blanks.
The twin-spindle architecture enables simultaneous OP10 and OP20 machining, allowing one spindle to process a new part while the second spindle completes finishing operations. This significantly increases productivity compared to single-spindle machines.
Each spindle delivers up to 2,500 RPM with high torque output, ensuring stable cutting performance for demanding applications. The machine is equipped with dual 12-station turrets, offering flexibility for complex machining operations.
The integrated gantry loader automates part handling, creating a compact and efficient production cell within a single machine footprint.
