The KPS 506 has a punching force of 1,250 kN with a 6-tool automatic changer (punch diameter 5 mm to 40 mm).
• The flat steel shear unit has a shearing force of 2,200 kN and includes an NC-controlled mitre (angle) unit.
• Working range: flat‐steel width from 50 mm to 500 mm, thickness from 5 mm to 25 mm.
• It includes features like an automatic feeder, marking device, and output/discharge device for finished pieces.
• The shearing unit is adjustable for bevel cuts (i.e. angled cuts).
In the Kaltenbach “System Solutions” catalog, the KPS 503, 506, 520 share the same flat / angle steel working ranges: 50 × 5 mm (minimum) to 500 × 25 mm (maximum) for flat steel.
