Gleason Phoenix II 275 HC CNC Bevel Gear Cutting Machine – Year 2003

Gleason Phoenix II 275 HC CNC Bevel Gear Cutting Machine Year 2003

Machine Gleason PHOENIX® II 275HC
CNC Bevel Gear Cutting Machine (Face Milling & Face Hobbing)
Machine Concept & Technology The PHOENIX® II 275HC is a state-of-the-art CNC bevel gear cutting machine based on a rigid monolithic column design.
This architecture delivers excellent cutting performance, superior thermal stability, improved operator ergonomics,
and efficient chip disposal. The machine is designed for high-speed, high-accuracy bevel gear production with a minimal footprint.
Key Design Features • Direct drive spindles (no change gears)
• Monolithic column with slides
• Pivoting cutter spindle
• FANUC 160i or Siemens 840D CNC controller
• High-speed CNC motion system
Productivity & Performance Permanent magnet direct-drive motors provide high speed and high torque at both cutter and workpiece spindles.
Shorter, faster motions significantly reduce cycle times. Mechanical setup tasks such as gear changes and draw rod
adjustments are eliminated. Complete machine setup, including tooling changes, can be completed in under 10 minutes.
Ease of Use & Maintenance • Short reach and open access to cutter and workpiece
• Swiveling operator pendant for ergonomic operation
• Highly accessible work chamber for manual or automatic loading
• Large maintenance access panels
• Reduced number of moving parts (approx. 15% reduction)
Software System Windows-based CNC software platform with user-friendly interface.
Fully network-ready with remote diagnostics, online service access,
and data upload/download capability for gear processing and inspection systems.
