AGIE CHARMILLES PROGRESS FOCUS 3 wire EDM machine was built in 2012 in Switzerland. The machine is used for precision electrical discharge machining of workpieces with a maximum weight of 800 kg, which makes it possible to achieve complex shapes in even the hardest materials. The machining process uses wire with a maximum diameter of 0.33 mm, which is threaded through the semi-automatic AGIEJET system. Moreover, workpieces machined in this way do not need to undertake other secondary processes such as polishing.
The AgieCharmilles wire EDM machine is offered with an intuitive CNC control and a portable control unit with LCD display AGIEJOGGER. There is also the possibility of retrofitting the machine with the cooler shown in the photos at an additional cost, price to be agreed. The PROGRESS FOCUS 3 EDM machine weighs 3900 kg.
