AVIA VMC 650 CNC vertical machining centre was built by the Polish company Fabryka Obrabiarek Precyzyjnych AVIA S.A. in 2005. The CNC milling machine is characterised by a high-quality construction that guarantees excellent stability when machining workpieces with a maximum weight of 700 kg. Inside the machine there is a workspace with a table with a length of 800 mm and a width of 540 mm and a spindle operating at a maximum speed of 10000 rpm.
Workpieces are machined in three X/Y/Z axes with feeds of 650 mm (X axis), 540 mm (Y axis) and 620 mm (Z axis). A sliding doors separates the workspace of the milling centre from the operator, ensuring high operating safety and reduced noise levels. The AVIA VMC650 machining centre is numerically controlled via a convenient-to-use HEIDENHAIN iTNC 530 CNC controller with all the necessary functions to ensure trouble-free and efficient operation. The total weight of the milling machine is 4150 kg.
