Machine Description
1986 POREBA TCG 160 x 4500 CNC Heavy-Duty Flat Bed Lathe designed for large-diameter and heavy workpiece machining.

The machine provides a maximum turning diameter over the bed of 1,600 mm (63″) and a maximum turning length of 4,500 mm (177.2″). It features a 105 mm spindle bore, spindle speeds from 1.6 to 200 RPM and a powerful 75 kW (approx. 101 HP) main spindle motor.

Designed for heavy-duty applications, the machine can accommodate workpieces weighing approximately 30,000 kg between centers, increasing to approximately 40,000 kg when supported by two steady rests.

Heavy-duty workholding is provided by a 4-jaw chuck / faceplate arrangement, making the machine suitable for machining large shafts, rolls and other heavy industrial components.
