Description
This 2011 Kern Evo CNC 3+2 Axis Machining Center is a high-precision machining center suitable for demanding small-part and precision milling applications.
The machine was originally manufactured for a university and was factory refurbished by Kern in 2022.
The current owner used the machine lightly for watch production over the last few years. The machine is being sold because a Kern Micro HD was purchased and this Kern Evo is no longer being used as much.
The machine originally had a 36-tool magazine and was later upgraded with two additional tool levels. It also received a factory-added flood coolant system in addition to the existing mist coolant system.
The machine is configured as a 3+2 axis machining center. The turntable is currently removed from the machine but is included with the sale.
The package also includes many HSK 25 tool holders, including Schaublin and Rego-Fix holders, along with a step-up transformer from 208 V 3-phase to 380 V.
