The Internal Grinding System HAU Model SBA
was specially developed for spray-finishing with special grinding heads or Scotch-Brite brushes for internal surfaces. The drive of the workpieces is carried out by a brake motor with 3.3/4 kW drive power at speeds of 1400 or 700 RPM. The internal grinding device with quick-release fastener sits on a hydraulically controlled cross slide and allows for a longitudinal stroke of 600 mm and a transverse stroke of 200 mm. Both the stroke unit and the main slide can be adjusted via sliding units for 60°. The internal grinding unit is pivot-mounted for access to hollow parts. Lubrication is applied pneumatically to the workpiece.

The Internal Grinding System HAU Model SBA-D
has an automatic operation sequence similar to the SBA system and works with two workpiece holders that rotate independently of each other. During the operation, one workpiece is in contact with the spindle while the other remains stationary. Since the workpiece handling system works in cycles, uneven load distribution is avoided. The clamping of the workpiece holders is done hydraulically. Therefore, even difficult parts can be processed by milling.
