The HACO TS 3006 guillotine shears, built in 2006 in Belgium, are designed for precise cutting of steel sheets with a maximum length of 3100 mm and a thickness of 6 mm. Precise sheet metal processing is performed by two hardened cutting knives with four cutting edges positioned vertically to each other.
Depending on the thickness and type of sheet metal, the angle of the cutting knives and the gap between them can be set using two levers located at the rear of the machine. The upper knife attached to the ram is driven by two parallel hydraulic cylinders and works in the up-down direction. The workpiece pressed against the cam is accurately measured on the scale located between the front bumper and the bottom knife. The position is read using a mechanical counter located behind the knob for manual setting of the stop.
HACO hydraulic guillotine shears are equipped with foot control, clamps holding the workpiece immobile during cutting, and a modern NC HACO SP8 controller with a control panel, allowing, for example, to set the departure of the rear bumper or set the length of the cut.
