Instead of two interlinked stand-alone machines involving automation and turning station, only one DVT is needed to machine workpieces with top precision from two sides. This involves a part being transferred to the next chuck in the clamped state without any loss in position. Compact DVT pick-up turning machines also require significantly less space compared to two stand-alone machines with a connection and turning station.
