Since its foundation in 1838, KraussMaffei’s has been headquartered in Munich. As of April 2016, it has been majority-owned by China National Chemical Corp. Ltd. (ChemChina), one of the largest chemical companies in China. At the end of 2018, the KraussMaffei Group became listed on the Shanghai Stock Exchange under the umbrella of KraussMaffei Company Ltd.
Our first-class products are manufactured at 16 locations around the globe, including Munich, Hanover, Jiaxing (China), Sucany (Slovakia), Näfels (Switzerland, home of subsidiary NETSTAL) and Florence (USA).
KraussMaffei is currently modernising further via the largest investment programme in its history. The Group has already commissioned new plants in Einbeck and Jiaxing (China) and is investing more than 100 million euros in new plants in Parsdorf near Munich and Laatzen near Hanover.
