CNC Axes
- X axis: Transverse feed motion of the grinding wheel frame with full closed-loop control via grating ruler.
- B axis: Workpiece spindle rotary motion with full closed-loop control using angle encoder.
- C axis: Rotary table motion with full closed-loop angle encoder control (optional).
- Y axis: Longitudinal reciprocating motion of the grinding wheel frame.
- W axis: Automatic cleaning feed motion of the grinding wheel (optional).
(X, B, C are linkage axes; W axis optional.)
Application & Capabilities
The machine is mainly used for grinding triangle, square, long diamond, polygon, and round indexable inserts.
It is designed for high-precision machining of hard alloy, ceramic, and CBN indexable inserts.
The imported FAGOR 8070 CNC system combined with an articulated manipulator allows one-time clamping for:
- Peripheral contour machining
- Chamfering (single or double-sided)
- Rounding
- Non-standard blade curve machining
Highly suitable for mass production.
