Xflex Duo
The
Xflex Duo is a version of the Xflex series equipped with two opposed machining units,
designed to significantly increase productivity while occupying less floor space.
The tombstone fixture configuration, featuring two identical fixtures on each side, maximizes spindle
utilization and enables simultaneous loading and unloading of parts while both machining units are in operation.
The Xflex Duo represents an optimal solution for high-productivity manufacturing scenarios, particularly
suited for machining rotating parts.
The
Xflex series has been developed by applying extensive know-how in high-productivity systems
for machining steel, cast iron, and aluminum parts.
From its initial conception as a deep hole drilling machine for crankshafts to its current form as a flexible
machining center for various parts and operations, the Xflex series has undergone a profound transformation.
Thanks to its modularity, these machining centers guarantee maximum stability and flexibility for high-production
environments.
And always with a single purpose: to provide customers with a machine optimized for their specific part and
operation.
Benefits
- High adaptability to different production scenarios through a modular platform that allows multiple spindles
per machining unit and up to two opposed machining units. Independent spindle Z-axis is available for twin
spindle configurations.
- Multi-sided tombstone fixtures enabling quick and flawless changeovers. Each face of the tombstone can be
dedicated to a specific part type or part family.
- The tombstone design allows overlapping loading and unloading with machining operations, reducing the total
number of machines required for production.
- Compatibility with dry machining, MQL, or high-pressure coolant applications.
- Design focused on efficient and unobstructed chip shedding.
- Ergonomic design facilitating tool changes and maintenance activities.
- Configurations suitable for gantry loading, robotic automation, or manual loading.
