Description

The Hyundai Wia XF6300 is a high-performance simultaneous 5-axis vertical machining center developed by Hyundai Wia’s European R&D Center for advanced mold & die, aerospace, medical, automotive, and precision engineering applications. Manufactured in 2016, the XF6300 combines high-speed machining capabilities with exceptional thermal stability and positioning accuracy. The machine features travels of 650 mm (X), 600 mm (Y), and 500 mm (Z), together with a Ø630 mm direct-drive rotary table capable of full simultaneous 5-axis machining. The A and C rotary axes utilize Direct Drive Motor (DDM) technology, providing outstanding dynamic performance, accuracy, and smooth motion control. The built-in 15,000 RPM HSK-A63 spindle delivers up to 31 kW and 153 Nm torque, making the machine suitable for both high-speed finishing and demanding roughing operations. A 34-position automatic tool changer with a rapid 4.5-second chip-to-chip tool change time maximizes productivity. To ensure world-class machining accuracy, the XF6300 is equipped with linear scales on the X, Y, and Z axes and rotary scales on the A and C axes. Hyundai Wia’s advanced Box-in-Box machine structure combined with a standard oil-cooling system minimizes thermal deformation during long machining cycles, ensuring consistent accuracy and repeatability. With rapid traverse rates of 60 m/min on all linear axes, roller guideways, direct-drive rotary axes, and premium Siemens control technology, the Hyundai Wia XF6300 is an ideal solution for complex 5-axis machining applications requiring speed, precision, and reliability.
