WOTAN® S3I – High-Precision Internal Grinding Machine

The new WOTAN® S3I is suitable for high-precision cylindrical grinding for universal internal machining up to 400 mm orbital diameter and 450 mm workpiece length. In addition to overhung workpieces, it is also possible to machine components which, due to their geometry, must be guided in a steady rest. With this new compact internal grinding machine, the focus is placed even more consistently on precision and optimized processes. A solid granite bed provides unprecedented accuracy, while linear motors and hydrostatic guidings guarantee long-term minimum tolerances. Up to 4 grinding tools, in-process measurement, optional external grinding modules and additional features significantly reduce non-productive time. You benefit from maximum precision, shorter cycle times, higher throughput and increased customer satisfaction.
