The Romi C 510 CNC lathe is a versatile machine for machining various types of parts with optimum levels of power, speed of movement and precise machining. Equipped with Siemens Sinumerik 828 sl- CNC, high performance and high reliability hardware, it offers excellent programming and operation resources with graphic module for machining simulation.

It can be equipped with the optional RMMP – Romi Manual Machining Package that offers the ease of operation of a universal lathe with the productivity of a CNC lathe.
The RMMP allows the machine to be operated both manually and automatically. There are three modes of operation, depending on the skill of the operator:

Manual mode (the operator machines the part as on a conventional lathe using the electronic apron), Cycle mode (allows the operator to work semi-automatically), Teach mode (the operator, while machining the first part, saves the machining steps step by step and then executes the same program later).
Its bed supported by cast iron columns, hardened and ground, constitutes a self-adjusting system, which ensures permanent contact of the table on the bed. The head is supported by high precision bearings. This whole set provides rigidity and high load capacity, as well as vibration absorption, even in the most severe cutting conditions.
