Technical Description of the mtr System:
The mtr system is a highly flexible power & free system, utilizing the micro trolley (mtr) as its central load carrier. Its three-dimensional rail system allows for flexible routing, even on gradients of up to 30 degrees. With an impressive system performance of almost 8,000 carriers per hour on a transport line, it guarantees high throughput rates.
Automated material flow is enabled by pneumatically actuated entry and exit switches, available as passive gravity and horizontal switches or as active, motor-driven horizontal switches. Additional functional elements such as non-driven gravity tracks for buffering, accumulation, and transfer tasks, pneumatic stop units, and pneumatic trolley separators with trolley scanners for precise destination control and sorting make the mtr system a comprehensive solution.
