EDAF2 EDM machine offers the perfect combination of high speed machining,
high accuracy and fine surface finish capabilities to successfully handle any task.
The EDAF2 has a desktop work table design with a 3-way rising and falling working tank, which uses a space-saving design that integrates the dielectric tank with the machine base casting to reduce the surface requirements while improving thermal stability, and the machine also uses active liquid cooling of the axis structure Y and Z axis to keep the whole machine at a stable temperature.
The EDAF2 is equipped with machining technologies that ensure optimal productivity with low electrode consumption for each application using Makino HyperCut, SuperSpark ™ IV and ArcFree technologies. The EDAF2 is equipped with Windows 7 based Hyper-i control which provides a universal interface for all Makino EDM machines and uses a 24 inch high definition touch screen with advanced features to increase operator and machine efficiency.
The EDAF2 is also available in a precision EDM drilling configuration.
