The JOTES SPD 40 surface grinder was built in Poland in 1992. A highly reliable machine guarantees precise grinding of details mounted on a rectangular electromagnetic table or directly on the grinding table with a length of 1000 mm and a width of 400 mm. The hydraulically driven working table moves along the guides of the base and allows continuous speed adjustment in the range of 2 to 30 m/min.
To achieve excellent precision and machining quality, the JOTES magnetic surface grinder uses 350 mm diameter grinding wheels mounted directly on the spindle. The objects are ground by the periphery of the grinding discs, moving at a speed of 26 m/s. The machine is offered with the equipment, consisting of e.g. with a balancer for grinding wheels, work space lighting and 3 pieces of grinding wheels. The SPD 40 magnetic sander weighs 4,800 kg.
