MACHINE BED:
Welded construction (30 ° Mono block) with large ribbing and honeycomb structure provides high
Rigidity and vibration dampening. The machine configuration is set via CAD-CAM,
to achieve the necessary stiffness, without unnecessarily complicating the overall system.
MAIN SPINDLE:
Solid cast iron construction rests on a separate surface outside of the machine bed as
Carrier of the spindle motor. Spindle is driven by a 22.0 kW AC motor with
Direct drive. Speed 4.000 rpm with ASA 6 and hole passage 75 mm.
Default constant of cutting speed at variable turning operations.
COUNTER SPINDLE:
Solid cast iron construction rests with cross stroke W = – 400 / + 60 mm. spindle is driven via a
11.0 AC-motor + direct drive. Speed 4.000 rpm, ASA 5, bore passage 52 mm.
Default constant of cutting speed at variable turning operations.
Tracking if necessary with main spindle standard features.
SUPPORT and WZ-REVOLVER:
Support made of Meehanite cast slides on ground guide bars. Counter visits by support
and cross slide coated with low-friction plastic, hand scraped and pressure lubrication.
FANUC AC axis actuators with ball screw spindles (Z-axis D. 32, x D. 32, 12 pitch) and
preloaded double nut. Accuracy of the longitudinal axes by means of Rotary wall
