The column travels directly on the machine bed without the need for additional base slides. This solution guarantees maximum inherent rigidity.
The milling push infeed is carried out via 4 linear guides and thus allows to optimize the accuracy behaviour accordingly.
The vertical infeed in “Z” is carried out by 2 synchronized high-precision ball screws and two parallel cylinders compensate the weight over the entire path. The X and Y axes are moved by hardened and ground ball screws with preloaded nuts.
An additional quality feature of TESSEN’s products is the micrometric mounting elements with over 50 anchor bolts and locknuts. This guarantees long-term geometric behaviour and easy after adjustments.
