CINCINNATI 20′ X 120″ vertical two-spindle four-axis gantry milling machine. The machine will eventually be equipped with a CINCINNATI ACRAMATIC CNC control.

Minimum Length 20′ = 6096 mm
Minimum Width 120″ = 3048 mm

Work surface shall include three precision sockets spaced 30″ apart. Remaining sockets shall be of lesser precision (± .005″ spacing) and shall be spaced as shown in drawing A.C. – 74M-449.761

Machine description
The basic design is based on a gantry moving along longitudinal guides.
The longitudinal movement (X axis) must be performed through the gantry by means of a toothed rack and two guides; one placed on each side of the bed
The gantry must consist of a guide bar of constant height and connecting the support for the two spindles.
