CHARMILLES ROBOFIL 240 CC wire EDM machine was built in 2005. The highly efficient machine is designed for machining workpieces in 5 axes (X,Y,Z,U,V) at an angle of 30° or 45° using the electrical erosion method, allowing for the creation of difficult and intricate shapes. Inside the polymer concrete body of the machine, there is a high-speed digital generator CleanCut, which prevents the creation of electrolytic effect during machining and also allows to achieve high cutting speeds. The wire EDM machine also features anti-collision protection and optical scales to ensure high precision. The CHARMILLES wire EDM machine weighs 2100 kg.
