1 Gear Reducer – Inspect for bearing or gear wear, shaft play, gear lash, seal leakage, or noise. Replace parts as necessary.
2 Vari-Drive – Check pulley wear, alignment, belt condition, and speed changer operation. Recalibrate blade speed indicator.
3 Hydraulic System – Check leaks; inspect valves, cylinders, gauges, and fittings. Replace parts if required.
4 Cam Followers – Inspect and lubricate (dual column machines).
5 Blade Tension Assembly – Lubricate slider plate and adjust tension.
6 Hydraulic Oil and Filter – Inspect and replace if necessary.
7 Lubrication Points – Grease or oil bearings, pivot points, guide rails, screws, pillow blocks, and chains.
8 System & Cutting Pressures – Check and adjust.
9 Powered Blade Brush – Check operation and replace if needed.
10 Vises & Barfeed – Inspect vise wear, alignment, and feed operation.
11 Blade Guides – Inspect condition and replace if necessary.
12 Band Wheels – Inspect wear, taper, bearings, and runout. Replace as required.
