| The HERR-VOSS CINCINNATI is a heavy-duty 60″ coil slitting line manufactured in the USA and rated for processing hot rolled, cold rolled and galvanized steel. The line has a maximum coil width capacity of 60″ (1,524 mm) and a maximum coil weight capacity of 50,000 lbs (approximately 22,680 kg / 22.68 metric tons). The input section accommodates coil inside diameters from 15″ to 39″ (381 to 991 mm), with a maximum outside diameter of 72″ (1,829 mm). The specified material thickness range is 0.011″ to 0.135″ (approximately 0.28 to 3.43 mm). The line requires a minimum trim of approximately 0.400″ to 0.500″ (10.16 to 12.70 mm). On the output side, the line produces coils with a 20″ (508 mm) inside diameter and a maximum outside diameter of 72″ (1,829 mm). Specified width tolerance is ±0.005″ (±0.127 mm) for material from 0.009″ through 0.110″ thick and ±0.010″ (±0.254 mm) for material 0.110″ thick and above. The line provides multiple operating speeds, including approximately 570 FPM (174 m/min) in low gear, 970 FPM (296 m/min) in high gear, and a stated maximum line speed of 1,600 FPM (approximately 488 m/min). The line is equipped with a Herr-Voss Strand Extensioner and is offered with extensive auxiliary equipment, including slitter knives, knife setter, cylindrical grinder, coil car, palletizer, upenders, down-enders, turntables and related equipment.
