CMT CURTIS MACHINE TOOLS Detay
CMT CURTIS MACHINE TOOLS CNC Takım Tezgahları Firması CMT provides high precision and economical cylindrical grinding solutions for producers of high volume components, particually in the automotive industry for fuel injection and turbo charger applications . We manufacture grinding machines with many options for locating, grinding and automatically handling workpieces. Where no standard solution exists, CMT are able to design and build bespoke machine tools. In addition, CMT offers automation solutions for integration of other processes to make manufacturing cells. Curtis Machine Tools Ltd is part of the Douglas Curtis Machine Tools group, established in 1973 by Douglas and Richard Curtis, and still wholly owned by the Curtis family. In the years that ‘Curtis’ have been in metal cutting, engineering has evolved dramatically. New processes, wheel and gauging advancements, refinements in mature technologies, plus improved production control and quality assurance methods have rightly spurred new levels of expectation from users of machine tools. For our customers to compete in today’s environment, process capability is just the start. Curtis engineers have applied parts handling, gauging and ancillary process systems capability to maximise hardware utilisation, reduce operator input, eliminate post-machining processes and thereby minimise operation costs. CMT provides the complete grinding customer package from design, build, installation, training and after sales service. Products bgproducts_vectorVector The base machine in the Vector range, for volume production of components requiring single or multi-plunge of diameters, forms, faces and threads. Vector twin Vector with two work spindles allowing loading and grinding to take place at the same time hereby reducing the ‘dead time’ to a minimum. Typical cut to cut time 3 seconds. Vector GFS For small diameter components, where the traditional production route is not practical, the GFS grinds from hardened bar stock to finished size in one operation. D150 Universal platform for specialised external and internal grinding processes. Special Purpose Where no machine exists for a particular process, or where production volumes justify the investment.
